Pi Beta Phi was the first national secret college organization for women molded after men’s Greek letter fraternities. Twelve women founded Pi Beta Phi Fraternity on April 28, 1867, at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. Each year, thousands of women become members of Pi Beta Phi, joining one of our more than 130 chapters across North America. The Mississippi Alpha Chapter of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity was founded in 1961. As members of Pi Beta Phi, our sisters pride themselves on striving to exemplify our core values in all that we do and say. Since its founding, the MS Alpha chapter has steadily grown in both number and depth of sisterhood. With every new member added, MS Alpha has gained a new asset to our family.
